			Due to the economic situation in the country, I felt the need to help the people with hearing impairment and low income, considering that they must have the same opportunities as other children. This project then starts in March, 2002. Providing hearing equipment is essential to be connected with the world of sound, and giving access to language is necessary to build any psychic structure. Both elements are cornerstones for every human being’s integration to society. After that, the aim is to integrate those children to state schools and follow up with appropriate hearing and language rehabilitation. Currently, I advise professionals and institutions as regards hearing rehabilitation and school integration. I am very happy to inform that there are already: - 900 children and elderly people who are able to hear now and are being integrated thanks to hearing aids donations. - 110 children receiving batteries every month. - 600 lectures and conferences given nationally and internationally.
